Illinois appellate court affirms dismissal of physician's breach of contract claim
The Appellate Court of Illinois for the First Judicial District (the "Court") affirmed a trial court's decision to summarily dismiss a physician's claim of breach of contract against a hospital. The Court found that the hospital is immune from civil damages under the Illinois Hospital Licensing Act (IHLA).
