Three-quarters of participating hospitals have received incentive payments for meaningful EHR use
As of March 2013, 85% of hospitals are currently participating in electronic health records incentive programs with Medicare and Medicaid, and 75% of them have received incentive payments for meaningful use, according to a fact sheet released by CMS and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
