A call for forms

Dear readers,

HCPro is working on a new book of FPPE forms and tools, and we’re inviting you to be a part of it. Our goal for this book is to feature policies, dashboards, indicator lists, and other forms your organization uses to conduct FPPE. The new book will be structured similarly to the recently released The OPPE Toolbox by Juli Maxworthy, DNP, MSN, MBA, RN, CNL, CPHQ, CPPS, CHSE. Your policies and forms will be reviewed by our field experts, and could be included in this book.

If you’d like to be considered as a contributor, please send me your forms and a few paragraphs about your organization’s experience, including:

  • How long has your organization had an FPPE policy?
  • Has The Joint Commission or HFAP surveyed you on this policy?
  • Did you implement your OPPE policy at the same time as your FPPE policy?
  • What roadblocks did you face implementing your FPPE policy?
  • How involved where you in developing and implementing your FPPE policy? Did you have any outside help (i.e., consultants)?

Please send your reply to me by January 15. I look forward to reading about your organization’s experience with FPPE.

Thanks for reading!
