AAAHC acquisition of HFAP doesn't mean immediate changes for medical staffs

The Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), the accrediting arm of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), announced in mid-October that it had been acquired by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). The deal marks the first time two organizations with deeming authority have combined under single ownership.
