Arkansas ruling follows state legislation: No negligent credentialing in the state

Arkansas followed its position in the minority rule in a February 9 state Supreme Court ruling that negligent credentialing does not exist in the state. Currently the majority of states (approximately 40) recognize negligent credentialing as a cause of action against hospitals when a hospital staff member is accused of medical malpractice.
