Burnout resources for MSPs

In recent years, burnout has been a hot topic in the medical community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many physicians and healthcare providers revealed that they were feeling incredibly burned out, more than usual, due in part to the pandemic. The tragic passing of Lorna Breen, MD, due to this burnout has catalyzed a movement in the medical community to prioritize the mental and physical health of healthcare providers. This movement has focused on healthcare providers, but what about MSPs—the ones who support providers while dealing with negligent credentialing cases, peer review, FPPE and OPPE, CMS and TJC standards and requirements, and bylaws and policies?
