CMS deficiency information: Is your facility prepared?

CMS has posted publicly accessible hospital survey deficiency data on its website, and plans to do so on a regular basis. Hospitals must be prepared to acknowledge CMS deficiencies and answer questions about practitioners and the care they provide. Medical services professionals must help ensure that practitioners understand standards of practice, policies, and bylaws-both to address findings, if necessary, and to avoid future citations.
