Educate recruiters and hospital leaders for a smoother process
At some point in their careers, most medical services professionals (MSP) will face situations like the ones below:
1.The organization has hired a physician and now the medical staff office is expected to get his or her privileging paperwork in order-fast. The practitioner's contract stipulates that he or she must be privileged and start work in three weeks or the organization will lose revenue.
2.The medical staff services department (MSSD) receives a new application for a practitioner joining a group-and he or she is going to be on call for that group the weekend after next, so temporary privileges are needed. Is this an urgent patient care need?
