Experts weigh in on Joint Commission's recent FPPE/OPPE BoosterPak
The Joint Commission issued its Standards BoosterPak™ for Focused Professional Practice Evaluation/Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE/OPPE) in January. The accrediting agency didn't change any of the standards or elements of performance related to MS.08.01.01 and MS.08.01.03, but it did, for the first time, publish tips and implementation suggestions. These tips and suggestions may have been verbalized by Joint Commission representatives at conferences over the years, but this is the first time they have been solidified in writing.
