Federal District Court in Pennsylvania grants motion to dismiss physician's claims of continued tortious conduct

The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania dismissed a two-count lawsuit brought by a physician against the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (collectively, AAOS) alleging “continued tortious conduct” after AAOS refused to remove an article on its website that was ruled in a prior lawsuit to have placed the physician in a false light.
