Identify leadership potential in existing medical staff members

Current medical staff leaders may not realize that one of their primary responsibilities is finding physicians on the medical staff who have the ability to lead but whose latent talents may not have come to the notice of current officers, nominating committees, or hospital administrators. This can be a challenging task, but rest assured, you don't need a special leadership radar to identify future leaders. With the use of surveys and the right strategy, talent scouting will feel like second nature.
