Las Vegas police uncover unlicensed medical offices

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating several unlicensed medical offices found operating out of a single business complex.

Working off of a tip about an illegal dentist office, police raided the complex and found several other unlicensed medical businesses, including a primary care physician office, and a pain and joint management clinic.

Police arrested Eric Vargas-Rivera and charged him with one felony count of furnishing dangerous drugs without a prescription. Vargas-Rivera said he was a physician in Mexico but admitted that he was not licensed to practice in the United States.
