A look at new accreditor CIHQ's requirements
A range of regulatory changes have arrived-with more just around the corner. And now, acute care hospitals have another accrediting option to consider. In midsummer, the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality (CIHQ) joined the ranks of DNV, the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), The Joint Commission, and URAC as a national accrediting organization with CMS deeming authority.
