Making the case for certification

Professional certification benefits not only the MSP, but also his or her hospital. Organizations that facilitate the process for their MSPs reap additional benefits such as a more stable medical staff services workforce with higher morale, as two directors of medical staff services have seen. They advise MSPs to make the case for reimbursement in terms of return on investment—but don't expect immediate results.
