Making the most of a medical staff website

Given that today's culture is fully immersed in technology, it is easy to assume that any information you might need can be found with a few clicks. ­Occasionally, however, a few clicks can turn into an hours-long search-and in the world of medical staff services, it seems this is more often the case than not. This is a frustration that ­Lynnette Fisher, CPMSM, CPCS, medical staff ­coordinator at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Mont., knows well. "If you go to a regular hospital website and look up medical staff office you can't find anything," says Fisher. "If you have your contact information out there, it makes it so much easier."
