Neurophysiological monitoring

Neurophysiological monitoring refers to any measure used to assess the functional integrity of the peripheral or central nervous system. Neurophysiological monitoring can be performed by clinical neurophysiologists or by intraoperative monitoring technologists, and it occurs in the OR, ICU, or other acute care setting.
