Reduce case review with rule and rate indicators

Because I travel a lot, I receive numerous surveys and comment cards from airlines, car rental companies, and hotels. I almost never take the time to complete them unless something unusual has happened. It would just take too much time to do all of them. Most of us do not take the time to comment on something that is routine or commonly expected, but medical staffs do. Many medical staffs that I visit perform reviews on cases that are routine and expected, like deaths and complications. This overreliance on case review takes time and effort and often does not result in enough meaningful care improvement opportunities to justify the use of resources.
