Sharing your piece of the MSO pie

A colleague recently contacted me asking for assis­tance in preparing for her next medical executive committee meeting. She works in a two-person office as a credentialing coordinator. Her voice quickly revealed her panic as she explained that, in the sudden absence of her director, she was charged with taking on the coordination of medical staff meetings, as well as other responsibilities previously under the purview of her director.
