Supreme Court of Alabama: Hospital must comply with discovery request

​The Supreme Court of Alabama (The “Court”) denied a hospital’s petition to overturn a circuit court’s order compelling the hospital to turn over documents related to a radiological technician accused of sexually assaulting patients. The Court found that the hospital was unable to meet the burden of proving the existence of a privilege for the requested information.
