Tip of the week: Plan ahead for successful meetings

Meetings often involve special equipment and materials. It is the meeting planner’s responsibility to ensure that everything necessary is available and working properly. If participants or outside experts are presenting during the meeting, find out in advance whether they need specific equipment, such as white boards, flip charts, overhead projectors/slides, computers, etc. Work with support personnel to obtain the necessary equipment, and review how to use them with the presenter prior to the meeting.
