What the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact means for your medical staff

The Compact won't mean the end of current licensing processes for the majority of physicians, who only practice in one state. Rather, it will apply to initial licensure for physicians interested in practicing in multiple states. MSPs won't need to revamp their processes, either, says Humayun Chaudhry, DO, MACP, president and CEO of the FSMB.
