OIG adds oversight of hospital privileging to 2014 Work Plan

Hospital medical staffs and credentialing committees can count themselves among the many targets of the Office of Inspector General (OIG) in the coming year. According to the 2014 OIG Work Plan, released at the end of January, the government agency has added "oversight of hospital privileging" to its list of focus areas for this year.
