Tip of the week: Update privilege delineations regularly
For privilege delineations, it is important to ensure that all procedures listed on the delineation continue to be available at your organization. Privilege delineations are developed by taking into consideration the available equipment, staffing, and resources necessary to provide a particular procedure or service. As practices change, it could affect what services your organization offers. Additionally, as facilities grow in size and scope, organizations must ensure they update their privilege delineations and update or revise the minimum threshold criteria before an application or an existing member can request the new privileges or new services.
