Co-payless care for employees of Georgia County

A new health clinic in Savannah, Georgia opened its doors this week to free visits for government employees of Chatham County. Employees who are covered by the county’s medical plan (about 1,400) will be eligible for co-pay free visits to the clinic to receive primary care services. The clinic is run by Marathon Health, which was awarded a $620,000 contract for its services. According to the Savannah Morning News, a consultant has estimated the county could save $5 million over the next five years.
