Physician leaders warming up to ACA

Fifty-five percent of physician leaders believe the Affordable Care Act has more good in it than bad, according to a survey conducted by the American Association for Physician Leadership and the Navigant Center for Healthcare Research and Policy Analysis. 

Other survey highlights include:
-    69% agreed or strongly agreed that physicians should be held accountable for the costs of care, along with the quality of care
-    58% agreed or strongly agreed that transparency about physicians’ business dealings is a positive trend
-    57% agreed or strongly agreed that accountable care organizations will be permanent models for risk-sharing with payers
