Salaries for non-profit hospital CEOs continue to rise

According to an analysis by Modern Healthcare, using the most recent salary figures from 2012, the total cash compensation of 147 non-profit hospital CEOs increased an average of 24% from the previous year.

The analysis also found that the average cash compensation for the CEOs was $2.2 million, with amounts ranging from $178,810 up to $21.6 million. These figures included base compensation plus retention bonuses and other deferred compensation.
