Dear readers,
This week’s edition of Medical Staff Leader Insider features a piece about a surgeon ordered to pay $40,000 to a nurse for kicking her. From the nurse’s testimony, the surgeon had a history of this type of behavior. I don’t work in a hospital so maybe I’m a little out of touch, but is this type of behavior common?
My general rule of thumb when I walk into my office every day is to not kick anyone. It’s a pretty easy rule to live by.
Thanks for reading!
