Online ER appointments are the wave of the future
This week’s edition ofMedical Staff Leader Insider features an article about hospitals offering online emergency room appointment bookings. Personally, I like the idea of being able to choose a time to show up instead of having to wait around. I wouldn’t be surprised if more hospitals begin offering this service because it just seems more convenient.
So many other parts of my day-to-day life have already moved online due to convenience. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t go online to book a flight, hotel, or dinner reservation. I even order and pay for my pizzas with an app on my phone. So why not my emergency care?
