CMS postpones Open Payments review deadline after shutting down database

Due to maintenance, CMS shut down its Open Payments database on Saturday, August 30, for several hours, and will do it again on Friday, September 5.

 

As a result of the shutdowns, the deadline for physicians to review and seek corrections to data reported by device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and group purchasing organizations is postponed two days to September 10.
