Notify APPs of expanded scope of practice
In Monday’s edition of CRC Daily we discussed expanding the scope of practice of advanced practice professionals (APP). If your state has expanded the scope of an APP, it may be prudent to send notifications out to your APPs. In such a notification, you may reiterate that until policies have changed within the hospital, their scopes within your walls will remain the same. You may also inform them of your plans to reassess their scope.
