CDC releases Ebola training modules

Following the outbreak of Ebola last year, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released four web-based training modules to help prepare emergency department workers who may treat patients with infectious diseases.

Johns Hopkins Medicine developed the video training modules, which can be found on the CDC’s YouTube channel. The videos are intended to supplement the CDC’s written guidance and provide step-by-step clips to help healthcare workers identify, triage, and manage the care of patients possibly infected with Ebola. The training also includes guidance on communication techniques, planning processes, and teamwork principles.
