Editor’s Note
Dear readers,
I was sitting in class this week listening to a marketing presentation about CVS. I was surprised by the high number of fellow students who said they have used a retail medical clinic, such as CVS’s MinuteClinic. It was also announced this week that CVS would acquire all of Target’s pharmacies and clinics and rebrand them under CVS brands. These two incidents have me wondering, are retail clinics the wave of the future? How long is it going to be before we stop visiting our doctor’s office for simple medical issues and instead drive to Target or CVS as our first choice? Do you think retail clinics are the future for basic care? Have you visited a retail clinic? Let me know.
Thanks for reading!
