ACGME to release Milestones for Phase II specialties

The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and Journal of Graduate Medical Education earlier this week announced plans for a 2014 supplement to the Journal that will feature Educational Milestones for all specialties in Phase II of the Next Accreditation System, including the Transitional Year. The March 2013 issue of JGME featured a supplement that included the Educational Milestones for seven Phase I specialties that transition to the Next Accreditation System on July 1 (emergency medicine, internal medicine, neurological surgery, orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, diagnostic radiology, and urology).
