Building a better NPDB
December 6, 2013
The draft of the next National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) Guide is available for comment through early next year. Some things have changed since the last edition was printed—for starters, the Healthcare Integrity and Protection Data Bank has been merged into the NPDB, although this merger does not significantly alter NPDB reporting requirements or access to information. The revised guidebook aims to offer clearer examples of when and how to report and query the database. Now the NPDB wants your input. Read the story below for more information about commenting on this draft.
As always, thanks for reading!
