The effects of physicians’ appearances and behaviors on patient care

This week, read about a new study that found out how patients and their families perceive physicians’ abilities based on the physicians’ outward appearance. It turns out that a lot of patients still prefer to see physicians wearing that white coat! There’s also a great story this week about hospitals that are making a great effort to address disruptive behavior from physicians.
