NPDB Guidebook comment period ends today
January 31, 2014
The public has until the end of the day today to submit suggestions for revisions to the NPDB Guidebook. The updated National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) guide will incorporate legislative and regulatory changes adopted since its last edition (2001), including the merger of the NPDB with the Healthcare Integrity and Protection Data Bank. The revised NPDB Guidebook will offer more and clearer examples of when and how to report and query, more useful tables explaining Data Bank policies, and live links to statutes, regulations, and the NPDB website.
