Survey: Physicians, nurses pressured to deliver poor care

In a survey of 1,021 healthcare workers in England, Wales, and Scotland, 27% of physicians and surgeons and 33% of nurses reported they have been put under excessive pressure or bullied to behave in ways that are counter to patient care within the last two years. The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development survey also found 43% are worried that poor care could cause a patient care scandal at their facilities.
