Take our survey to get exclusive insights on MSP compensation, duties, workforce trends

The Credentialing Resource Center’s (CRC) annual MSP Salary Survey helps us gather information on current compensation rates, roles and responsibilities, and career growth trends for MSPs.

Our team later compiles the results into a comprehensive report, featuring statistical visualizations, data breakdowns, and expert insights for MSPs. These professionals can use the findings in the report to ask for a raise, seek out support for certification, negotiate terms of employment, start meaningful conversations with peers, and more.

We encourage all MSPs to take this year’s survey. The more responses we have, the more meaningful (and actionable) the data will be. Below are a few excerpts from the last edition of the report that illustrate the type of information collected in the survey and demonstrate how MSPs can leverage the findings to advance their careers.

“Beyond direct payment, organizations also offer a range of benefits for their employees. More than three-quarters of 2025 respondents receive payment or reimbursement for attending conferences or industry events (77.9%); 67.2% receive payment or reimbursement for professional certification (e.g., Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist or Certified Professional Medical Services Management); and 62.3% receive payment or reimbursement for educational opportunities other than live, in-person events (e.g., webinars and books).”

“Until the day when there is a dedicated degree in credentialing and privileging, MSPs can monitor industry channels for educational opportunities. And while educational costs are always a concern, those can be alleviated by taking online and/or community college courses, which typically carry lower tuition, and by leveraging any funding offered by an employer—a benefit that 54.9% of 2025 survey respondents enjoy.”
