The foundation of success
In addition to writing this weekly online roundup and the monthly Credentialing Resouce Center Journal, I’m working on a couple of book projects that will offer MSPs the tools they need for ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with accreditation and regulatory medical staff requirements. In each project, the foundation of every MSP/medical staff “success story” is a solid working relationship between the medical staff services department and physician leadership.
If that foundation is shaky at your organization, or if new physicians are joining the leadership roster, I hope you’ll join renowned experts Sally Pelletier, CPMSM, CPCS; and Mary Hoppa, MD, MBA, for a webcast titled “Credentialing and Privileging: Tools to Tackle the Top Physician Leader Responsibilities.” Tune in Feb. 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m Eastern Time to learn how to:
- Implement best practices for developing stronger physician leadership
- Build effective policies and procedures that cover new technology and procedures, and pre-empt privilege disputes and reappointment challenges
- Document practitioner performance for a range of purposes
These speakers will present the medical staff services and physician leadership perspectives, and the conversation should be insightful as well as informative. We’ll have time at the end to tackle your questions. Click here for more information.
Thanks for reading!
