CRC is getting a makeover!

The challenges that MSPs, medical staff leaders, and quality professionals face daily demand innovation, agility, and flexibility. The Credentialing Resource Center (CRC) is committed to providing a dynamic education and training platform that embodies these principles and evolves with its member base. That’s why, beginning this week, we’re debuting some exciting changes to the CRC website, membership benefits, and driving publications. Read on for a rundown of key upgrades, and feel free to contact Editor Delaney Rebernik at drebernik@hcpro.com with any questions. We’re thrilled to provide these new tools for pursuing professional excellence in a variable healthcare landscape.

A one-stop resource for credentialing best practices, medical staff office strategy, and legal guidance. We’re combining the Credentialing Resource Center Journal (CRCJ) and Credentialing & Peer Review Legal Insider (CPRLI) into one 16-page publication that reflects the hallmark insights of both newsletters. Read the expanded CRCJ for analysis and best practice strategy on credentialing, privileging, peer review, medical staff office management, and the legal implications for these core functions.

A more frequent and robust publishing model. Currently, print and digital issues of CRC publications are released on a monthly basis. Under our new model, members will gain exclusive access to brand new articles and resources weekly on the CRC website. To help you keep tabs on all the available content, new articles will be announced in CRC Daily. At the end of each month, we’ll roll the corresponding weekly articles into digital issues of CRCJ and Medical Staff Briefing (MSB) that mirror their current print format. Although readers will no longer receive print issues by mail, you can continue to download and print high-quality digital PDFs of current issues, as well as select back issues, directly from the CRC website.

Upgraded and expanded membership benefits. All CRC members will now have access to MSB and the expanded CRCJ, as well as several years of back issues of CRCJ, CPRLI, and MSB. Other updated and brand new features include a job board (all members), a categorized and user-friendly professional forum (all members), a living encyclopedia of essential medical staff and credentialing concepts (Platinum and Platinum Plus members), and new tools for multimedia professional education and training, including videos, webinars, and eBooks (Platinum Plus members). A sleek website facelift that supports increased customization and intuitive navigation. Upgrades include an engaging homepage that points visitors to CRC’s latest and greatest articles, resources, and networking opportunities; retooled content categories and site markers that support more robust, targeted searches; and a “My Content” feature that allows members to cultivate a personalized library of CRC offerings that matter most to their professional endeavors.
