Do you love flexing your medical staff and credentialing muscle? Ever find yourself reciting accreditation standards in your sleep? Been known to geek out over an elegant form letter or application template?
If you answered “yes” to any of the above, then we’ve got the job for you.
The CRC team is seeking enthusiastic medical staff leaders, MSPs, attorneys, and quality professionals to serve on a brand-new Tools and Forms Committee. Members will evaluate the publication merit of field-sourced credentialing, privileging, and peer review materials. Through incisive individual feedback and group discussion, committee members will build CRC’s living library of expert-vetted tools and forms from the ground up.
In return for their important work, active committee members will receive the benefits afforded CRC's close contributors, including public recognition on the site’s Boards and Committees page.

Essential responsibilities:
- Evaluate field-sourced medical staff and credentialing materials for accuracy, compliance, relevance, and effectiveness
- Join fellow committee members and CRC editors on quarterly conference calls to discuss the publication potential of submitted materials
- Provide written feedback to accompany tools selected for publication to help the CRC community understand what makes a given tool so effective and how to adapt it for use in other environments
- Contribute materials for review (as available) and encourage other professionals to do the same
- Provide insight into current industry needs, evaluate opportunities and gaps in the library’s contents, and help chart the overall trajectory of committee activity
Eligibility requirements:
- Expertise in at least one of the following subjects: credentialing, privileging, peer review, OPPE/FPPE, medical staff leadership/governance, or medical staff services/credentialing department management.
- Knowledge of federal regulations, accreditation standards, and/or legal considerations regarding at least one of the previously identified subjects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An affinity for analysis and acute attention to detail.
- At least five years of industry experience. Specific experience in reviewing professional materials is a plus.
- Availability to review materials, attend conference calls, and provide written feedback on a quarterly basis.
